A note about Scammers – a couple of readers have alerted us to scammers responding to their adverts. Typically they are poorly worded with bad grammar, and they usually mention paying by some sort of direct transfer or through a 3rd party. No mention is made of visiting to view – I can’t imagine a serious genuine buyer not wanting to look over a Corribee before buying.

This is a typical scam response:

For Sale – Corribee junk rig for sale, Tern Tu, 1979 bilge keel (Posted August 2018)

Reason for selling:

I bought her last summer but never had a chance to sail her before getting a new job and moving to London. She’s currently lying ashore in Dublin, Ireland.

The Boat:

The hull is in a very sound condition, previously painted and the superstructure is the original unpainted white gelcoat.

The sea-toilet and sink have been removed, and all seacocks epoxy filled and glassed over internally The 12v battery box now sits where the toilet was for better weight distribution.
the previous owner also removed the old LPG hob and gas pipework and replaced it with a new 2 burner Origo 3000 spirit model (almost completely unused).
The cockpit drains and associated seacocks have been recently replaced with slightly larger ones.
The cabin sides are painted, the roof lined with a cherry veneered ply and a stretch lining carpet material has been used to cover the main central structural beam area.
The previously renewed red vinyl upholstery is in excellent condition and has been dry stored off the boat since I bought it.
The junk rig version of the Coribbee steps the mast through what would normally have been the opening hatch so in order to maintain ventilation a small Goit opening hatch forward of the centre curve of the coachroof was installed.

All the wooden grab handles on deck have been replaced with stainless steel handles
Brand new hand operated bilge pump

Instrumentation consists of an Echopilot combined log/depth sounder and a Plastimo Contest compass both mounted in the cockpit.
A bi-colour nav light and stern light are pulpit and pushpit mounted respectively and a masthead mounted steaming light.

There is a cabin light fitted and a 12v socket outlet and a new fuse panel
The deck is in original gelcoat

Antifouling was professionally re-painted in 2017

The Rig:

The rig itself was renewed by the previous owner in his early ownership and he had a set of articulated aluminium alloy battens made as well as a new sail. I understand the concept of articulated battens for this type of rig is to give a more adaptive sail set and therefore efficiency, to its sailing performance. I still have the original wooden battens which, of course, are included. The sail, battens and boom etc. have been stored, in its sail cover, on a rack in my garage.
There is a CQR pattern anchor (about 5kg), with approx. 5.5m of chain and approx. 29m anchor line, a bilge pump, ensign & staff, various fenders and lines, transom boarding ladder and, courtesy of Jake Kavanagh, the mould he used to make an anchor locker for an article he wrote for PBO magazine several years ago. He gave the previous owner the mould in 2012, but it hasn’t been fitted, so an optional project for someone if they so wish!

The Motor:

The outboard motor is a 5hp 4-stroke water cooled Honda outboard with a 3amp charging facility and connection for the boat. The engine was fully serviced in 2017 and properly winterised. When mounted on its drop down bracket it is operated by either a forward-neutral-reverse and throttle remote control fitted in the cockpit coaming, or from the engine itself.

The Trailer:

The trailer is a 4-wheeled custom built fully galvanised, 2000kg capacity trailer by Lizard Trailers of Helston, Cornwall.

The trailer is in very good condition and the wheels, with minimal tyre wear, have been dry stored whilst the boat has been chocked up on it.

Wanted – Corribee MkII or III (posted July 2018)

Hello, Looking for a Corribee mk II or mk III. Here’s a list of the things I’m looking for :

1. Fairly ready to sail. I don’t mind if it needs cleaning, painting, new headlining etc. (rewiring ok too). If it needs glassing and renovation then, sorry no! The hull, keel, rudder and mast must be in sound structural condition. The rigging should also be OK.

2. Need not have an outboard but good if it does.

3. Better with a trailer

4. Located (or parked up) on the west coast of uk.

5. Bilge keels would be better.

Do you – or someone you know – have a boat that you think is ok, then I would be happy to hear from you.

For Sale – MK3 Corribee, bilge keel (Posted June 2018)

Mk3 Corribee for sale, currently sitting on mooring in Emsworth, ready to sail away today.

The boat has all new standing and running rigging (replaced 2017)
New LED navigation lights and fuse panel.
All the wooden grab handles on deck have been replaced with custom made handles made in Iroko.
Brand new hand operated bilge pump.
12v Battery
The deck is in original gelcoat and the topsides are painted in dark green Toplac.

The main is used but in good condition – no repairs. It has two rigged reefing points in the main. The roller reefing genoa is usable but tatty and could do with replacing but boat will happily sail with it as is. Comes with spinnaker pole but no spinnaker.

The sale includes plough anchor and warp, horseshoe lifebouy on stern bracket and new Nasa target depth sounder.

This boat is an unfinished project and it needs some jobs doing. None of these are urgent and she can be happily sailed as is:

The paint on the topsides is peeling and needs re-coating. I have enough paint available to give the boat a new topcoat.
The cabin has had the headlining and foam fluff removed, which needs replacing.
All the original seat cushions come with the boat but they are in bare foam and need recovering.
The front window is intact but the glass is crazed and needs replacing at some point.
The boat was on a swing mooring over the winter, and whilst it is heavily anti-fouled it needs beaching for a scrub.

Not shown in the interior photo are all of the wooden covers for the under berth storage areas which are included and have been recently re-varnished.

The boat is available with two separate outboard motors which are not included in the sale price:

A two stroke Seagull Silver Century Longshaft – 5hp (£150) or Honda BF5a 4-stroke outboard (£450)

The half tide mooring on which the boat is currently moored is also available at a much reduced rate for the rest of the 2018 – 2019 season.

Price £650

For Sale – Road Trailer for Coromandel / Corribee (Posted Nov 2017)

Price to buy is £750 and firm.
Available 17 May in Waldringfield, near Woodbridge in Suffolk.
Dimensions will suit a Coromandel or Corribee bilge keeler. Happy to confirm with your keel measurements. For other bilge keelers of about 1 tonne, contact me for dimensions.

This trailer carried Coromandel ‘Little Min’ safely from the South of England to Yorkshire, to Greece, then back to Yorkshire. In 2017 I bought the boat with her trailer, and she was hauled to Suffolk for me. Tyres are excellent.

(Lighting-board is not included.)

From her former owner:

In 2013 – “The  trailer  was  made  roadworthy  with  new wheel  rims  and  tyres,  new  wheel  bearings,  brakes  cleaned  and correctly  adjusted,  breakaway  cable  and  the  required  front,  rear and  side  reflectors  fitted.”

In 2016 – “The  trailer  is  totally  roadworthy  – on  the  way  back  from  Dover,  an  over-zealous  policewoman stopped  us  and  took  us  to  a  VOSA  (Ministry  of  Transport) testing  station,  where  much  to  her  disappointment,  the  vehicle examiner  was  satisfied  that  the  whole  rig  was  legal  and  in  good order.”

And in 2017 – “I’ve just ordered a new wheel and tyre for the trailer – it had the spare on after a blow-out on a Belgian motorway. I can confirm that the trailer’s geometry is spot-on. With 55kg loading on the nose, it tracked straight and true after a tyre blow-out at about 48 mph.”

For Sale – ‘Harriet’ Corribee MkII Fin Keel – (Posted Oct 2017)

Harriet is Lying in Keyhaven River after a major refit last year covering the following

MK 2 Fin keel with skeg
New Sanders Mainsail
Roller furling headsail fitted
Standing and Running rigging replaced
Teak rubbing rail replaced, all woodwork removed, rebedded and revarnished
Hull stripped of Antifoul, sanded and reapplied ( No issues found, just to smooth)
Seacocks removed and replaced with new
New cushions and cushion covers in grey heavy duty fabric
New cabin windows fitted
She does have a trailer which could be included as long as the price agreed is okay.

Overall a very pretty sound boat, and an opportunity to buy a boat with all the expensive bits done, The new mainsail alone is pretty near the asking price. She does need some interior TLC but nothing that a bit of Spring maintenance wouldn’t sort.

Asking for £1250, hoping this is a sensible number.

Wanted  Found – Coromandel or similar (Posted Oct 2017 Found Nov 2017)

I’m in the market for a junk-rigged sailboat, and the Coromandel is at the top of my list of candidates! Here’s a list of the things I’m looking for 🙂 :

*More or less ready to sail. I don’t mind if it needs cleaning, painting, a new toilet, a new radio or even a complete rewiring, but if it needs full-on structural renovation then I’m less keen! To put it another way, I’m not so interested in fancy gadgets, perfect paint jobs etc., but the hull, keel, rudder and mast must be in sound structural condition. The rigging should also be OK.

*It needn’t have an engine (though that is nice, of course), but if not, it must be possible to propel it with oars or yuloh.

*Located on or near the coast of Europe (including the British Isles, of course), north of Brittany.

*Bilge keels would certainly be a plus, but other hull forms will be considered 🙂

Depending on where the boat is currently located, it is most likely that I would put it in a nearby marina (or even keep it where it is if possible), do whatever small tasks are required, then sail it away during the summer.

If you – or someone you know – might be willing to sell a boat (of any class) that you think fits the bill, then I would be happy to hear from you

For Sale SOLD – Corribee Betsy MKII Fin Keel 1978 (Posted July 2017, sold Aug 2017)

Betsy and I have recently returned from a singlehanded transatlantic. She has undergone an extensive refit over a four year period, this has been thoroughly documented on my blog. Here you will find a wealth of photographs that show the full extent of the preparations.

There are numerous videos of our adventures together which begin here:

As a result of the modifications to Betsy I would imagine she would be of most interest to a prospective Jester Challenger or at the least someone interested in singlehanded sailing.

Betsy has no engine at this time but a single paddle is included in the sale!

Betsy is for sale complete with her sails and basic inventory which includes a fixed Garmin GPS and LED navigation lights. Her trailer is a modified Brian James with an all up capacity of 3500kg, this is for sale by separate negotiation as is the Windpilot Pacific Light windvane but not until Betsy has found a new home first.

Price: £sold for Betsy and her basic inventory, with the trailer and windvane as a separate negotiation. If someone wanted the whole package it would be £sold.

FOR SALE  (Sold) – Tern Tu, Junk Rig Corribee, Hull No: 7890 (posted April 2017, Sold May 2017)

I bought the boat about 5 years ago, from a then Moderator for the Corribee/Coromandel Discussion Group, and trailered it back from Lake Windermere to my home in South East Hampshire. The idea was to refit it and circumnavigate the UK. Unfortunately, because of life events and health issues etc. it’s sat on it’s chocked up trailer since then and although I’ve maintained and improved it, it’s unlikely that I will now sail it so better for someone else to enjoy it.

The Boat: The hull is in a very sound condition, previously painted and the superstructure is the original unpainted white gelcoat. In a nod to Roger Taylor’s (author of Voyages of a Simple Sailor) approach I decided to remove the sea toilet – which needed replacing anyway – and the associated seacocks including the one for the sink, which itself has already been taken out by a previous owner, epoxy filled the resultant holes and glassed over internally. However, all easily reinstated if the new owner wishes to do so. The 12v battery box now sits where the toilet was for better weight distribution.
I also removed the old LPG hob and gas pipework and replaced it with a 2 burner Origo 3000 spirit model.
I’ve replaced the cockpit drains and associated seacocks with slightly larger ones.
The cabin sides are painted, the roof lined with a cherry veneered ply and I’ve used a stretch lining carpet material to cover the main central structural beam area.
The previously renewed red vinyl upholstery is in excellent condition and has been dry stored off the boat since I bought it.
The junk rig version of the Coribbee steps the mast through what would normally have been the opening hatch so in order to maintain ventilation I’ve installed a small Goit opening hatch fo’ard of the centre curve of the coachroof. The first two photos show the boat on Lake Windermere and it ready to be trailers home from there.

Instrumentation consists of an Echopilot combined log/depth sounder and a Plastimo Contest compass both mounted in the cockpit.
A bi-colour nav light and stern light are pulpit and pushpit mounted respectively and a masthead mounted steaming light. There is a cabin light fitted and a 12v socket outlet. I have also fitted a new switch panel.

29m anchor line, a bilge pump, ensign & staff, various fenders and lines, transom boarding ladder AND courtesy of Jake Kavanagh, the mould he used to make an anchor locker for an article he wrote for PBO magazine several years ago. He kindly gave me the mould when I met him back in 2012ish but having just checked with him he doesn’t need it back now.

I deliberately haven’t anti-fouled as, in it’s previous life, it could be in a fresh water environment or a sea water one, both requiring a different AF formulation.

The Motor: The outboard motor is a 5hp 4-stroke water cooled Honda outboard with a 3amp charging facility. I ensured the engine was properly “winterised” when I laid it up in my garage and after putting some fresh fuel in the approx. 22 litre portable fuel tank a couple of days ago, it started on the third pull and ran very sweetly. When mounted on its drop down bracket it is operated by a forward-neutral-reverse and throttle remote control fitted in the cockpit coaming.

The Trailer: The trailer is a 4-wheeled custom built fully galvanised, 2000kg capacity trailer by Lizard Trailers of Helston, Cornwall. Although built for a Corribee I’m sure it could used, or adapted, for similar sized boats, if required, as well. The trailer is in very good condition and the wheels, with minimal tyre wear, have been dry stored whilst the boat has been chocked up on it.

So, for the trio of boat, outboard and trailer, including information on using junk rig and a owners handbook for the Honda outboard, the asking price is £sold. I’m sorry but I’m not prepared to separate the package. The boat is at my home address about 3 miles from Emsworth on the South Coast and I can be contacted on 07970 541327 or email Thank you for your interest in looking.

For Sale SOLD – 1984 Newbridge Coromandel (posted April 2017, Sold June 2017)

Little Min. Hull No 8257. We bought her in 2013  as a restoration project – she had broken her moorings and lost both her rudder and skeg. The person that we bought her from had got her intending to carry out the renovation, but having ripped out the entire interior (even the bulkhead!) he decided that it was too much work and passed her on to us. The trailer was made roadworthy with new wheel rims and tyres, new wheel bearings, brakes cleaned and correctly adjusted, breakaway cable and the required front, rear and side reflectors fitted.

The pulpit, pushpit and stanchions were removed and re-bedded with Sikaflex. The windows were removed and using an excellent kit from Eagle Boat Windows, were repaired and re-bedded – as was the fore hatch. All deck hardware – cleats, fairleads, bow roller, ventilators etc. – were removed, cleaned and re-bedded. The rudder stock tube was re-bushed, a new rudder stock fabricated from 25mm 316 stainless bar. The rudder was laminated from 6 layers of 18mm marine ply, screwed and bonded with epoxy to the stock, then shaped and covered with epoxy/glass fibre. The skeg was framed with hardwood, infilled with closed-cell foam, shaped and covered with multi layers of epoxy/cloth. A new 316 stainless heel fitting was fabricated and supports the lower end of the rudder stock.

The hull was strengthened internally, totally rewired and new gas lines fitted. The seacocks were as-new, so they were removed, cleaned and refitted with marine ply backing pads and bedded with Sikaflex. An internal oil-filled tube was made and fitted to take the echo sounder transducer – no extra hole in the hull. New electric bilge pump and float switch were installed and limber hole tubes glassed in to direct bilge water to the pump.

The interior was rebuilt using the standard layout as a basis. The unit on the mid starboard side has a drop down door that holds a washing up bowl. There is a new 2 burner cooker in the galley area with storage below, above and to the side. The heads has an as-new Porta-Potti that easily unfastens (one wing nut) for taking out and emptying. The aft bulkhead in the heads houses the switch panel that has a digital volt meter to test battery state and a battery cut-off switch – all new.

There is a new Garmin GPS 152 and a new NASA Target echo sounder mounted on a swinging bracket on the inside of the starboard cockpit forward bulkhead, that can be swung out to read from the helm. The GPS has an external antenna that is mounted on a pole on the pushpit – out of way of the mainsheet. The cabin headlining is new – as are the cabin side linings. There are 4 interior lights all LED – all new. Two 12v sockets were installed. The navigation lights have also been replaced with new LED units. Battery consumption is minimal. The photos show an orange topped battery – this is the leisure battery from our motorhome – a new 75ah leisure battery will be fitted prior to sale. Engine is a 5hp Yamaha 5BS air-cooled 2 stroke outboard that has a remote tank.

The exterior was strengthened where needed with epoxy/glass – a mixture of CSM and woven roving. Main areas being the leading and trailing edges of the bilge keels and fillets on both inner and outer keel/hull attachment areas. The entire cockpit sole was recovered.

The folding mast has been professionally repaired by Needlespar. There is a new Windex wind indicator that fits at the masthead. Most of the running rigging was replaced with new. The sail and cover have been checked and repaired where necessary.

The anchor is a 6kg Delta with 3.4 metres of 8mm chain and 40 metres of 18mm octoplait 8 strand nylon. There are sufficient warps and fenders, a boathook, ensign staff and a copy of the Corribee/Coromandel manual.

Currently lying in Leeds, West Yorkshire, I am prepared to deliver the boat to any address in the UK at a cost of £1 per mile one way. More photos available, phone me with your email address, or for further information.

FOR SALE – Corribee Mark 2. Great little Cruiser. Ready to Trail and Sail. (Posted 6 April 2017)

Peregrine is a Fin Keel 21 ft Corribee, Sail Number 219. Built in 1973 and I am her second owner from 1977. Moored annually in Weymouth Harbour and used for club racing  and local  day sailing in Weymouth bay and occasional trips along the south coast to Poole Harbour and up the river to Wareham. Good proven all weather little cruising boat very capable of Round Britain, Cross channel and even Trans Atlantic sailing.

She has 4 berths with original cushioning (still OK). There is the original gas hob and grill (some rust); sink with a lifting pump tap and draining to a hull stop cock outlet; SL 400 toilet with pump and two stop cocks. The padded cabin wall side lining was replaced a few years ago and is still OK.

The hull is very sound. Old antifouling was removed in 2010 by sandblasting down to the gel coat and then repainted with undercoat and SeaJet 034 Emperor High Performance self polishing antifoul; last repainted in 2016. The decking itself is waterproof but some areas have weathered with superficial blistering.

She is fully rigged with Proctor slab reefing silver metal Boom and Mast which hinges in a non rusting black metal tabernacle and standing rigging of 1995. Excellent virtually as new Crusader Jib and cruising Genoa. The original storm jib and the original spinnaker with pole. Cranfield 4 batton pocketed mainsail. Halliards and sheet ropes for these sails.

Original folding  anchor with chain running down into a forward storing locker via a deck outlet. Additional useful Skeg Damforth anchor and line. A boat hook, Birgee, warps and mooring springs and fenders.

There is a Seafarer Echosounder and a hand held compass.
Standard Horizon Submersible VHF Marine Transceiver.
Hand held Garmin GPS 111 Personal Navigator.
Mercury 3.3 outboard with a clutch which is easy to start and has been reliable.
She was lifted out on 31/10/12 for wintering on her SBS road trailer which was repainted after welding repairs last year.

A lovely little cruising boat which I have enjoyed over 40 years. Alas I am getting a bit old now and she needs to be enjoyed and used more by a more flexible owner! She awaits on her trailer and could be launched straight away. If interested get in contact and come and see.

Location: Charminster, Dorchester, Dorset
Price: £2000

For Sale SOLD – Corribee mkII bilge keel (posted April 2017 sold May 2017)

“Dream on” (formerly “Jeans Toy”) a Mk11 Bilge Keel with single axle trailer. I purchased “Dream on” in 2008, she was on the water at Exmouth and then moved ashore into Barn storage for a planned internal refit.  The refit was started and then unfortunately a health problem whilst I was working in Singapore and the subsequent rehabilitation meant the work was not finished and probably never will be. The Barn is now required for other things and “Dream On” needs to be sold.

“Dream on” is complete with sails, mast etc.  but has not been rigged since 2009 – all essential components have just laid in Barn storage. Apart from a mast spreader being broken (probably as a result of being moved into storage, there are no obvious issues.

“Dream on” is being sold as a project and inspection is welcomed.

PRICE:  Please inspect and make an offer – there is no fixed price.

For Sale SOLD – SEABEE Sail number 148, Newbridge built in 1974 (Posted March 2017, sold March 2017)

A great little yacht; I have used her for singlehanded, engineless daysailing whenever possible, as respite during 5 years as a fulltime carer. She is in good order but remains essentially a bare boat inside, ideal as a fitting out project for more ambitious sailing; sadly, changing circumstances prevent me doing this work hence a reluctant sale but this tough, practical little yacht would amply reward anyone able to take her on.

A good sound hull painted and antifouled last year. Fin keel with skeg hung rudder and beach legs, outboard stern bracket, hardwood rubbing strips.

Deck and self draining cockpit with nonslip finish will be repainted this spring. Stainless pulpit, pushpit, stanchions, grab rails and ventilators; sheet tracks and winches, deck fittings and cockpit drains in working order, new washboards.

Tabernacle stepped alloy mast with stainless rigging and fittings, alloy boom and whisker pole, all sound. Running rigging to be overhauled this spring.

Full suit of sails – main, 2 genoas, 2 jibs, spinnaker, and various sheets, blocks all in very good condition, stored indoors.

Outboard engine – Suzuki 5hp longshaft fourstroke, 2010. Hardly used, in excellent condition, run in fresh water last year and stored indoors.

Cabin – partly modified by previous owner but unfinished. I have stripped out the headlining, cleaned and painted the bare grp. Main hatch surround will be rebuilt. Windows and hatches are sound. Berth cushions, gas cooker, vhf, fishfinder.  Electric main panel, nav lights and wiring in place but a new battery and connection to it are needed.

Custom built road trailer needs a complete overhaul before it’s usable or would serve as a template for a new build.

Seabee is ashore in a yard near Dartmouth and can be viewed at any time.

Wanted – junk rig (posted Feb 2017)

I am wanting to experiment with junk rigging a long-keeled 24 footer now carrying a 20 square metre boomless standing lug main, and a lug mizzen, both on unstayed masts. Yes this is a bigger boat than a Corribee but I am not after performance so much as ease of handling, and the mizzen adds a few square metres of very useful sail.

I do not need a mast (although would find use for one), and would welcome anything that might get me going – whether full rig, sail, spars or battens. Condition – would be good if what you have is usable, but I am more than happy to get hold of things needing repair.

Does anyone have anything to offer? Advice too would be welcome!

Also included is an anchor, chain, rope, and oar boat hook. The boat has plenty of storage space with lockers under all seats and the aft locker. The engine was serviced with new impeller and gear box oil in July.  I have kept a record of receipts from the refurb which will of course also be included in the sale. Perfect entry level cruiser.  Easily sailed single handed, or with crew.  Purchased 5 years ago from fellow club member as a project boat.  Significant time / energy spent bringing boat up to current condition.  We have enjoyed using the Corribee as a day sailor to potter around the harbour, but lack of use this season has prompted sale.  Extensive restoration works so far includes, new bulkheads, new windows, exterior paintwork and graphics, new cushion covers, second-hand mainsail, new UV strip on genoa, replacement of forward hatch, new flooring, new electrical system including solar charging and regulator, navigation lights, depth sounder, bilge pumps and cabin lighting.  Cabin interior has been lined and new shelves and storage units added.  Cabin still needs to be finished off, but offers potential buyer scope to design to their own requirements.  Package includes a good reliable 1998 Yamaha 5hp outboard motor, which has been serviced annually.  The boat is currently out the water for winter layup, storage paid until April 2017 and launch fees also paid.  Suitable moorings are available for new owner at current location if required, subject to membership application.  Annual costs at current club are approximately £130 per year for a mooring and £95 per year for winter layup (including hoisting in and out).  Viewings available on request.

For sale SOLD – yard trailer for bilge keel Corribee (posted Sept 2016, sold Sept 2016)

This trailer is for slipway launching/recovery of a Corribee and is based on the original Newbridge design. It was manufactured in galvanised steel by RM Trailers in Hampshire ( and is in good condition. It can also be winched on to a flat bed road trailer, allowing you to move your Corribee by road without specialist yacht transport. Included with the trailer are the wheels, docking arms and drawbar.

The photo of the trailer shows it in its ‘bare’ state as the wheels/docking arms/draw bar are kept at home. The photo with the Corribee onboard (Corribee & skipper not included) illustrates how the complete system works – the trailer is attached to a tractor or winch for lowering down the slipway. For recovery the docking arms locate the boat centrally over the trailer, while lines from the drawbar position the boat fore and aft. The boat and trailer can be pushed around the yard by 3 people. The trailer itself can just about be lifted by two strong guys.

The trailer is located in the Southampton area and I’m looking for £SOLD for it.

For Sale – Mark 2 Twin Keel Corribee (posted June 2016)

I’ve decided to put my Corribee up for sale. She was to be my ultimate boat for pottering around the east coast but I don’t have the time for sailing or working on boats any more. She is basically sound but needs a few items sorting out, mainly the head lining and sea cocks. Has had recent new cushions made and comes with a galvanised twin axle trailer which I have towed the Corribee on but which ideally needs a few bits fabricated to make it properly road worthy. Located near Ashford in Kent.

For Sale – Bumble Bee Mk3 Corribee fin keel (posted Oct 2015)

Lying in Thetford outside my home. She is called ‘Bumble Bee.   The reason for sale is that I have a 28 month old daughter. I was planning to keep Bumble Bee until my daughter had a longer attention span and could sail happily with me in three or four years time. However I will be moving to Norwich early 2016, thus I’m unlikely to have a house with a 21 foot driveway in order to store Bumble Bee.
If you are new to sailing, Bumble Bee can easily be sailed single handed. She has until recently been kept at a beautiful relaxed marina at Thorpe St. Andrew, South East Norwich for just £67 a month. Griffin Marina, owned by Rob, has spare berths at present.  Tel : 01603 433253 (
The Corribee is a very popular and capable small cruising yacht, made famous by Ellen MacArthur who completed a single-handed circumnavigation of Great Britain in her Corribee “Iduna” in 1995. This example the desirable Mk3 version with increased headroom in the cabin, and benefits from an outboard petrol engine, along with a valuable fully working combination road trailer / trolly. She has cruised the Norfolk Broads and Lake District with her current and previous owners respectively, has been wintered ashore for the last 15 years and has no known signs of osmosis.

For Sale (possible share also considered) – Corribee, 1983 Mk III, Bilge keel ‘Curlew’  – (posted Oct 2015)

Lying Sussex

This is the perfect Mark III Corribee and I am sorry to be selling her but she isn’t getting the time and care required. She needs some work scrubbing down and new antifouling (supplied) this can all be done in a single days work which is how long it has taken in previous years but this year I just haven’t had the time. Hence she looks much scruffier than she really is.

The inside is traditional, nice woodwork, sink cooker, storage etc all very cosy and the head linings have been redone with nice interior lighting also replaced.

She is currently lying afloat in Shoreham by sea. A good boat, well looked after until the last couple of years.

1.    Ok sails but jib is very tatty and needs to be replaced.
2.    Rigging in good condition.
3.    Leisure battery (new).
4.    Depth sounder.
5.    Compass.
6.    Lowrance Chart Plotter relatively new
7.    6HP four stroke Mariner engine regularly serviced 6 years old and very little used.
8.    Various life jackets.
9.    Anchor and chain.
10. ’Corribee Manual’

If somebody lived locally and would allow occasional use of her on an informal basis I would consider a discounted price, I would also consider sharing her as I am very attached to this boat. Lovely pontoon mooring.

Price: £2,300 ono.

For Sale – Corribee, late MkII or MkIII Fin Keel (posted Sept 2015)

We have a Corribee for sale, we think it was bought as a kit in 1978. It has been sitting in my dad’s garden over over 20 years mostly under a cover. The outside is OK but the gunwhales needs some work, the hull just needs a good buff up. There are new windows but these are not fitted. Inside it is stripped out, needs a full refit.

Buyer will need to bring a trailer and we can lift boat up on to it. Happy to answer any other questions, we are looking for offers around £650. Contact

For sale SOLD – 1986 Junk Rig Corribee  – Trivial Pursuit (posted Aug 2015, sold Aug 2015)

I believe that this boat has had 3 owners. I bought her in North Wales 2 years ago and have had huge fun sailing her inland and offshore but a new posting to Asia means that it is time to move her on.

The hull is in great condition and no evidence of osmosis or impact damage. Repainted professionally in past 5yrs.

The woodwork tells her age a bit – I have replaced the the grab rails (2015) in Holly and some of the wooden mounting pads. All revarnished this season.

I have also added 12v – 2x 30w solar panels (flexy, you can sit or kneel on them and the power output is more than adequate for the boat), controller, leisure battery and the following appliances:

Navigation lights
Cabin light
Depth Sounder
12v USB and cigar lighter outlet. Handy for charging phone, iPad, VHF.
Whale bilge pump and transom outlet
Bow eye for trailer launch/recover.

The setup is basically one for coastal cruising.  Two berth plus stowage space. I removed the original fitting washbasin to provide a new storage space for electronics etc.

The rig is standard Hasler and Macleod. The mast hinges from about 500mm above the cabin roof and is secured with a 25mm aluminium pin. I have replaced the pin this season and remounted the mast foot as the original rivets were shot.

One sail in good condition and another with a few wear holes next to the mast. New ropes throughout, save sternsheets. Comes with RM trailer as new, lighting board, rear steadies and side steadies plus bow winch. I added all of the above last winter so most fittings as new. Canvas dodgers in good condition. Mooring strop new this season. Also new anchor warp and 8kg CQR anchor.

GBP 3,200 or better offers. Origo 2 burner spirit cooker, 8ft infl tender and 6HP outboard separate negotiation if you want them.

Boat currently lying west coast Scotland. Most of the pics are from the previous owner but have added a couple from last week in and around Oban.

Hope some gets to enjoy her soon…

Goacher Mainsail new 2011, spare mainsail, rolling genoa and 2 spare jibs. Old but serviceable spinnaker and lines. New custom made SBS trailer 2010.

New 6hp Tohatsu ‘SailPro’ longshaft outboard 2013. Fuel tank and line. New front window 2013. Forehatch replaced professionally 2011.

Electronics have been replaced 2011-2013: VHF, Navtex, depth, Garmin chart plotter. LED lights inside and out means the battery lasts a long time. Inverter and charging system. Autopilot.

2 hob meths stove, fenders and warps, 25kg CQR anchor and 8mm chain. Spare Danforth anchor. 40m spare 12mm nylon line. I have replaced some of the headlining inside too.

The previous owner had the boat epoxied and sprayed. There are a few scratches on the bow from the last mooring. The boat has plenty of equipment and cared for as best as I have been able. I don’t have a vehicle capable of towing the trailer so you would have to arrange transport.

For Sale – Last of MK 1 Fin Keel Corribee (posted May 2015)

Perhaps the fastest Corribee available? Composite cast iron and lead keel supporting a 23 foot mast (MK1’s are also lighter than the MK2’s.)

Built from new with an inboard with a hand start Villiers petrol engine . Re-engine nearly complete with a Lombardini air cooled, all aluminium, electric start, single cylinder diesel, fitted with a de-compressor for gentle start and stop (believed to be about 7 hp – 350cc). Mated with a Hurth gearbox (rebuilt with new clutch plates) which spins a new standard car alternator. Set includes prop and new flex coupling. The stern gland and p bracket have been re-set in hull to accommodate the lower output on new engine on the original engine bed.

From the photo’s you will see that this is a project (exterior wood will need to be replaced) but it is a worthwhile one! The boat went through a complete re-furbish about 15 years ago, but has only been used to 3 seasons, since then it has been stored dry.

I may split the engine from the boat, but that would mean cutting the boat up for scrap, which would be a terrible shame!

£1000 ono. Please call 07966939102  – laying in Suffolk.

For Sale SOLD – 1982 Newbridge Corribee 21ft `Littlewing`. Mk3 Bilge Keel with trailer (posted Apr 2015)

She has had only 3 owners from new, it has been in our ownership for 3 years, the previous owner purchased this boat in 1990 from the original owners and kept it for 22 years, it spent much of it’s time with him in dry storage, it is a very original boat still in it’s original Gel Coat that polishes up very well at the start of every season, it even has the original factory Decals.

The second owner kept a detailed log of all the work he carried out to the boat, that included all the recommended upgrades to the Corribee fittings etc that were recommended by the Owners Club, this is a very interesting read and comes complete with many detailed drawings, there are 2 folders of Corribee owners club magazines, numerous receipts/documents/notes and a survey from 1990 when the previous owner purchased her. The Boats name `Littlewing` is after a Jimmy Hendrix song of the same name.

We have had a wonderful time with this Corribee, we have had a drying Mooring at Dell Quay in Chichester Harbour, Sussex for the last 2 seasons (this mooring may still be available) bringing the boat home during the winter months on the trailer, a valuable saving on winter storage fees, we have nothing but praise for the Corribee`s sailing abilities and the Bilge keels make this a very usable boat being able to take the ground without problems.

The Sails has just been freshly laundered by “Batt Sails”, there is a Genoa foresail on a roller furling and battened mainsail, both Sails are in freshly laundered good condition, there is also a spare “hank on” Jib, the Mast & Boom are in original good condition with new rigging/Halyards etc last year, the rigging leads back to the cockpit for single handed sailing.

There is a Morse remote control set for an outboard engine complete with cables, there is a metal fuel tank and fuel line, it does not come with an engine, we used a 5hp Johnson that performed very well, on occasions we also used a 2.2 Suzuki that also pushed the boat along well, there is an anchor and 50m of chain plus numerous other items with the boat that include doggers/older used spray hood, sail cover, fittings for an autohelm, please look at the photographs as this will show all that is included with the boat. It has a bulkhead compass, clipper depth and speed log, small Gas canister stove, Cushions that were new in 2013 (we have the old cushions still in good order that come with the boat that would be ideal for alteration for cockpit cushions), you could improve the interior with some time if you wished, some of the wiring was replaced last year included fuse board/battery meter etc, the battery in in very good condition.

The trailer is a very solid item, although it has some age it is in good condition with new mudguards/wooden boards and Jockey wheel last year, it has a braking system but we think the shoes could do with re-lining at some stage, it tows very well and has been ideal for our 20 mile roundtrip to the boat yard twice a year.

Price £SOLD ono

We would be willing to deliver this boat locally for a small fee. We will answer any questions you have. Part exchange possible for Classic Motorbike/Classic Car.

For Sale – One third share – Wagtail mk II Corribee (posted March 2015)

“Wagtail’ is a lovely small yacht in excellent order. She has just undergone a major refit, details of which are below.
‘Wagtail’ is based at Hythe Sailing Club on Southampton Water. In the summer she sits on a drying mooring, and in the winter months the club has secure storage facilities on the hard in their pound. Hythe Sailing club has a wonderful reputation as a supportive and friendly environment in which to sail yachts and dinghies.
The mooring offers a great base to explore Southampton Water and the Solent is reached in an hour and Cowes in two.
Wagtail has been based at Hythe Sailing Club for four years now and we are looking for someone to take the remaining one-third share in her. We are based in South London and can’t get down to her as often as we like, so it makes sense for someone else to be enjoying sailing when we can’t! Boats love to be sailed….
Running costs at Hythe offer tremendous value compared with alternatives for the Solent. After a joining fee for the club (Approximately £105), annual fees are around £154 for annual membership for an individual (Less for students and seniors) and about £200 for a family. A third share of the mooring, pound space and insurance are the other major yearly costs. This amounts to around £120 for a third share of the mooring cost and less than  £80 for the winter layup. The share of the insurance would come to about £50. So an annual budget of approximately £500 would be a pretty good estimate of the cost of some excellent sailing in the Solent.

Mercury 4 Stroke 4 Horse power Outboard engine with 20 Gallon remote tank in stern locker. This outboard has been serviced for the 2015 season, really well looked after and serviced annually. She pumps water out in a steady stream and is a very reliable engine.

The boat is about to complete a major refit. The hull and decks have just been professionally painted. A new rubbing strake has been fitted, and all woodwork revarnished. A lovely brand new hand built tiller has been fitted, and a new cabin washboard. The boat has also been completely rewired and new LED lights fitted and a DSC vhf radio.

Lovely new Boom tent, main sail cover and dodgers, Origo Meths cooker, Kampa Porta Potti.
Comfortable nearly new berth cushions in a fashionable blue! The cushions have just been laundered.
LED cabin lights, Pull out chart table.

Cabin has just been repainted with new headlining.

Standing rigging in excellent order as is the running rigging. Stanchions and guard rails all in good order.
Brand new Battery and new electrics, plus a solar panel to trickle charge.
A small freshly painted hard tender is included with Wagtail, to get out to the mooring. Avon Redstart inflatable and Tohatsu 3.5hp 2 stroke outboard
In the winter Wagtail sits on a road trailer that has just been adapted with four guide arms for easy recovery of the boat.
New Boom cover, Dodgers, Cockpit tent.
New heavy duty tarp for winter cover.

Sails & Spars

The main sail and furling genoa are in very crisp condition. All lines are fed back to the cockpit for ease of operation and running rigging is in excellent order. The Spinnaker is also in great order. Whisker Pole.

Furling Genoa and Slab reefed Main with two sets of Reefing Lines, Kicker, Topping lift, and rear sheeted Main Sheet.

Navigation Equipment

Target Depth reader, Clipper GPS repeater, Clipper Wind instrument, Clipper Battery Monitor. All in good condition. New LED navigation lights.

Safety Equipment

New DSC VHF Radio in excellent condition, Horseshoe buoy, Anchor/Chain and Warp, Navigation and Anchor lights, Boat hook. Mooring lines, fenders etc.

Clip on points in cockpit. Brand new Red Ensign.

Changed circumstances have made me decide to part with Mai Poy, I was originally intending to prepare her for sale next season as she has been standing for almost 3 years now, but if you want a boat now and are prepared to undertake the cosmetic work; varnish wood work, the usual headlining problems to tidy up and renew anti foul.

For Sale – Fulmar-Sail No 162 Bilge Keel Mk2 Corribee For Sale £2500 ono (Posted July 2014)

Currently afloat at Gosport and anti-fouled for the season. New roller furling headsail fitted 2009 and main replaced 2006 with 2 reefing points and lazy-jacks. New stainless steel tabernacle fitted 2009 and all standing rigging replaced 2006. Auxiliary power provided by a Mercury 4HP outboard, weathered but functional and includes external fuel tank. A leisure battery also provides power to the log, echo sounder and nav lights. Other equipment also included are CQR anchor with 20m chain, dodgers, horseshoe lifebuoy, fenders, warps and boom cover. Internally the windows have been replaced, the headlining renewed and the bilges have had a fresh lick of paint this season.

We have owned Fulmar since 2007 and cut our teeth sailing her around the Solent for day trips, extended weekends and summer holidays, unfortunately a change in work commitments has curtailed any future plans (roll on early retirement). I have just revarnished all the exterior woodwork and manufactured new wooden washboards which has added to her appearance. She is ready and waiting for her next venture, please contact Andy on 07773393968, or email for any further information or to view.

For sald SOLD “Maridadi” bilge keel Mark 3 Junk Rig Corribee (posted July 2014, sold in just 3 days!)

Maridadi moored to pontoon at Maidens Harbour for the winter 2011/2012

Equipment: VHF radio, NASA depth sounder, Plastimo bulkhead steering compass with light, brass barometer and clock, Autohelm ST1000, Yamaha 4 h.p. outboard, Sevylor 2-person dinghy with oars, Fortress anchor with chain + anchorplait, Butterfly paraffin pressure stove, canvas dodgers, Plastimo horseshoe lifebuoy, toolbag with essential tools, boathook, fenders, warps, plus many charts, pilot books, etc.

I have had 12 years of enjoyment sailing Maridadi around virtually two thirds of the UK coastline, mostly single-handed. Reluctantly, however, ill health and advancing years now force a sale.
Due to some neglect over the past couple of years the boat really needs a little TLC, e.g.
(1) a few superficial scratches on the stbd side of the GRP hull need sanding down and the topsides can then be freshly painted,
(2) the wood rubbing strake needs some repair work,
(3) The vinyl upholstered berth cushions also need to be recovered. Hence the asking price of £(SOLD).
With her comprehensive inventory of equipment, Maridadi could put to sea in its present state after receiving a new coat of antifouling and giving the almost new Yamaha 4 hp outboard engine (only used 2 seasons) a routine service.
Maridadi is an ideal boat for any potential blue water sailors on a budget since the hull design is more or less the same type as Roger Taylor’s famous “Ming Ming” (before modifications) in which he made the truly epic voyages described in his recently published books.
Currently lying ashore South Wales.  Contact: (Details redacted-Ed)

Wanted – Sails for MkII Corribee (posted Jan 2014)

I purchased a Corribee Mk2 project from a well known auction site. The description and previous sale indicated an almost brand new set of sails with it which was the reason to purchase. By the time I collected the boat, the sails and anything worthy and moveable were gone. I ended up paying to dispose of someone else’s scrap and relieve him of berthing fees. It cost me a further £100 in fuel and a day off work for the pleasure! Caveat emptor!

As a result, I now require a set of sails for a bermudan rigged Corribee Mk2 alloy mast with a 3M boom. The foresail would be for a Plastimo roller furler. If you have a second hand/used/pre owned set or single sail you no longer need, I can give them a good home. Let me know what you have. Please email to establish communications. Apologies for this, too much spam hits my inbox.

Wanted – Folding mast for junk rig Coromandel or Corribee.

For Sale – Yard trolley for a Corribee (posted Dec 2013)

I acquired this trolley with a Corribee late in the 2013 season from a couple in Gosport who have the good fortune to have the harbour at the end of their garden. I intended to use it to launch and recover the boat on to a flatbed trailer or car transporter, but after carefully measuring my hard standing don’t have enough room to maneouvre it, so have no need of the trolley. Condition is a bit knackered (some of the welds have parted) but serviceable and the tyres are all quite new. No sensible offer refused and it will be advertised elsewhere. Proceeds of sale will go to this website. Please contact Iain Ballantyne on 07956 977 503

Dimensions Width overall 6’9″ 210cm Width outside the beams 5′ 153cm Smallest inner width 3’6″ 106cm The docking arm is demountable with a height of 4’6″ 137cm This is a heavy beast. Just about possible for one fit man to lift.

Lots of work done since 2006 after purchasing her at Halton Quay on the Cornish bank of the River Tamar and sailing her back to Gosport from Plymouth. For Sale BRILL CORRIBEE MK 2 FIN KEEL. (posted July 2013)

“Brill” is a Mk 11 Fin keel Corribee. Her hull has been repainted dark blue with a silver stripe, and is in top condition. Topsides in original cream and blue gel coat in reasonable condition. Teak grab rails and mahogany rubbing strake need treating and varnishing respectively. Bronze mast and boom. She has OK standing rigging, main, and jib; and could be sailed now – subject to replacement of the depth impeller! (new one supplied). Outboard bracket.

She has a bilge pump, NASA log and depth instruments – believed to be working but untested.

She comes on an excellent yard cradle, which is on four bogey wheels; so she is very easy to transport and launch using a car trailer. An excellent arrangement giving a lot of versatility in terms of where you sail and winter laying-up.

The interior has been largely stripped out ready for relining, re-wiring and refitting. Some ply panels pre-cut and a battery box fitted, with sink, tap and new twin gaz stoves and a clever swivel table leg mechanism, plus new spot lights and main light and switch panel supplied. Anchor and fenders and warps, horseshoe lifebuoy with cradle, and maybe some other bits, go with her.

“Brill” could be day sailed now; or would make an easy and satisfying project. I would love to finish her and sail her, but have too many projects and too little energy and time, so sadly she must go.

She is on her cradle, snug in a barn near Monmouth. I am asking £800 ono for a quick sale, complete with the cradle, which is surely a bargain. My copy of the excellent Corribee Manual is included.

Could arrange road delivery by arrangement. Pictures to follow. Please e-mail: or phone 01600 750444.

For Sale – Junk Rig Mk2, Mandarin Wind and 4 wheel braked trailer for sale.(25 Sep 2012) Mandarin Wind with Trailer £3750 I was told she was 1980 but the rear stamp cannot be made out, she has the design of this time. This has the original gel coat to all top sides. The hull has been stripped down, re undercoated, primed where necessary and repainted with epifanes lacquer finish in black above the waterline and red antifouling. The hull was found to be in very good condition with no signs of osmosis. (photo’s available). The insides have been stripped down and modified to the simplest layout.

2 round port holes have been added to each side as a previous owner had cut larger windows. The portholes are fitted into 12mm marine ply which strengthens the coach roof and give the more traditional style of the junk rig. A previous owner had started to make an engine well within the lazarette by cutting a hole (as in the coramandel) This was not finished and not right so has been filled and repaired exceptionally strongly with approx. 25mm of fibre glass and marine ply composite. The mast and sail are in very good condition and all kept undercover. The halyard and some other rigging are with the mast but needs a new main sheet for the junk sail and pos. some more bits of rope as with the junk rig. This is a lovely strong little yacht and ready to be further fitted to any individual requirement. I have removed all internal hull wiring and she has no instruments. The original stainless steel side nav. Light fittings have been reinstated but aren’t wired up. I have lots of photographs of her before, during the work and after. If you are interested, please email me for further photos and info. Very genuine reason for sale. Mandarin Wind is kept under cover at the bottom of my son’s garden in the North East not far from Newcastle. The trailer: This is a “transcontinental” 4 wheel, plated to 1.8T, braked trailer and works well as we towed the Corribee 380 miles to the North East with no problems using a Volvo estate car. Good braked twin wheel trailer for above. (Car trailer with ramps). 5 new wheels and tyres 2011. £750. HISTORY. Blue is a reluctant sale after just one season due to other commitments. Her previous owners had her for several years, wintered her ashore and only very rarely ventured from her mooring in the summer. Last year we launched and sailed her from Exmouth to our mooring on the Fal calling in at Dartmouth, Newton Ferrers and Mevagissey. After day and weekend sailing we returned to Newton Ferrers via Fowey at the end of September and thence up the Tamar to Weir Quay where she was craned onto her trailer and towed home further up the valley. The survey we commissioned did not throw up any gremlins and the surveyor judged her to be structurally sound. She comes well equipped but would benefit from some cosmetic tidying inside. We have not been able to get her on the water this year but she is antifouled, on the trailer and generally ready to go. For Sale with or without the trailer. Please call John or Rosie on 01822 870665 or 07779264668.

A final thank you…. Thanks to everyone for their comments and assistance during my search for a yacht. I was seeking to purchase either a Corribee or a Hurley and I’ve found Hurley 22. We have a fin keel mark 2 on a road trailer for sale. The boat is sound and the underwater area has been sanded and primed ready for antifouling. There are a couple of spare sails condition unknown. We are looking for around £2000 for boat and trailer. The boat is lying ashore in Invergordon.

Hi Dave, As you may have noted from my earlier posts I’m Corribee ignorant! However, I’m looking for a boat and I’m tempted. Have you any photos to share of your boat? 23. Craig Pagett Says:

Hello again. My search continues but I need a little advice.

I have a flat bed trailer with 1800kg capacity which is 3.2 meters from mid point of the single axle to the ball hitch. Can anyone provide peace of mind that a Corribee 21 mk 2 (bilge) would settle on it. By my estimations the distance from the boats mid point will obviously be c10.5ft to the bow but what I’m not sure of is where the point of balance is on a bilge keel and whether that distance to the bow is different. I’m simply trying to determine that the boat will not be too far forward and make contact with the towing vehicle. I may have answered this for myself but need to be sure so any words of reassurance will be appreciated.

Also, can anyone confirm the actual weight of the bilge keel boat – I estimate 1350kg.

Thanks again for all you help.

  24. Craig Pagett Says:

Hello. I’m really impressed with this website, the detail on it and the open and honest dialogue; it make me more determined to find a Corribee of my own.

So, I’m looking for a Fin or Bilge Keel but it has to be on a road trailer in order to travel north to Perthshire. I have a budget of c£2750 give of take but for the full amount I need to be confident the she will rig up and sail away.

I am looking for something before the winter sets in so I can tinker and offer some tlc at home, but nothing to arduous before next season.

I have a preference for a boat with 4 berths and well equiped albeit I know there isn’t too much room below. I need to be able to squeeze the children in for one-nighters.

Having been looking for a Hurley 22, I’m increasingly swayed towards the Corribee which should please everyone on here.

So please help my quest. I’ve just sold my existing boat and expect the funds to be available mid Nov (deposit received) so I’m after something before the year end.

Looking forward to receiving some feedback and ideas. Meanwhile, I’ll be contacting some of the above to see what’s still available on the list above.

    Thanks, Craig

    very good website!
Am interested in a bilge keel corribee but never had a sail in one. Currently in a Swift 18, bit of a handful for a solo codger in a north easter.

Any body looking for crew towards the end of October I would like some corribee experience. Have money to buy the right boat but would need road trailer

  27. Douglas Meikle Says:

    Hello Nick,

I have photos of Peregrine and her trailer ready to send to you but I do not think I can attach them to this reply. I could send them to your email perhaps.

  28. Douglas Meikle Says:

    Hello Nick,
Its a SBS trailer and seems sound. Original tyres have been replaced as the walls perished, although little used. I trail the 20 miles to the mooring and back home twice each year. The boat is lifted off and then back on the trailer by crane and slings so the trailer does not meet the salt water and wheel bearings are fine as far as I know. There is some rust but the 4 supports and keel platform are OK. The brakes were serviced a while back and the rusted pull rods replaced. In my opinion you should be able to tow the trailer to the East coast without difficulty. I will send this reply and then try and send photos of Peregrine and trailer. Perhaps your email would be best.

I have a Corribee mark 2 which I am looking to sell. She is moored in Weymouth Harbour on a Weymouth sailing club mooring at the moment. There is a trailer as she comes home each winter. The hull was sandblasted last winter removing years of antifoul remnants and there are two new foresails`;Jib and Genoa and a reasonable mainsail. I have owned and sailed her since 1977. She is in good condition and there is a Mercury outboard with a clutch and an Avon dinghy. If you are still searching please get in touch and I can send you Photos.

  31. harry Fenton Says:

I`m putting my Corribee up for sale as I want a slightly bigger boat. Mk3, 1981 version. Sailed twice this week. Pretty good condition. Anti-fouled last month. I replaced the headlining with carpet last year which works quite well. I will sell without outboard as I want to keep it unless you desperately want it. Lying Stoke Gabriel. 01803 782942. Will put a picture up soon. Harry fenton.

If searching the likes of ‘boatsandoutboards’, it’s worth bearing in mind that ‘corribee’ is requently misspelt. For example, right now, doesn’t show up in a search for ‘Corribee’.
    I usually search for ‘ibee’.
